Hiya, I'm Jaclyn!

 I've always struggled with not sticking with things,

not taking care of myself,

and basically quitting everything I started.

 

In 2018, I started working from home and found out sitting around in pajamas all day doesn't really feel so great.  

I was struggling with the basics of being an adult while working from home:

 

  • waking up at a reasonable time
  • working out consistently (heck, leaving the house to go for a walk was a struggle!)
  • actually setting time aside to make and eat healthy meals
  • not spending 5+ hours scrolling on social media...
  • not watching 3 hours of Netflix while in bed
  • showering and wearing real pants consistently (eek!)

 

That is so embarrassing to type, but that was my life 4 years ago.

 

We had just settled back into living in one place after traveling for 6 months. It was the first time I was working from home and had no office, no co-workers, and no commute. It sounds ideal and so fun to work from home, but as you've learned over the last 3 years, when you have no structure, it feels really shitty. You stop showering every day because no one is going to smell you. YIKES.

 

I spent several months on the struggle bus. One day something hit me, and I was like, "Jaclyn, you gotta figure this out. You can't keep doing this to yourself."

 

Soooo I set out to do just that. 

"How do I show up for myself and consistently take care of myself without a deadline or all the stress that comes from doing these extreme diet and exercise plans?" (Those never actually feel like self-care! They just pile on self-hatred!)

 

And after a lot of trial and error and perseverance, I figured it all out.

 

I created simple and repeatable SYSTEMS for self-care that helped me take care of myself while working from home.

 

And now I want to help you figure it out too.
