Getting back on track after you stop taking action

I didn't work out Thursday and Friday. I did my walks with the pup in the morning and evening and did some stretches at home but didn't head to the gym.

Saturday morning, I wake up and am having that convo in my head.

You know the one.

"You didn't workout Thursday or Friday. You should head to the gym today."

"I know I should, but I don't want to."

"Well, you need to."

"But I don't want to."

So I sat down at my desk to get some other work done.

I always start with The Big 5 + 1 Motivational Journal. I have been using it to work on my business, but this morning I started writing about working out.

Getting the conversation out of my head and onto paper made me confront the pain I would continue to feel if I didn't go. I made a simple actionable plan, and I went.

I feel so much better and so much better about myself for going.

The Big 5+1 Motivational Journal is magical like that. :)

And it takes 2 minutes.

And it gets you to take action.
